HOME: The Stage!
REASON FOR AWARD: Because even this film has been out for ages, the glossers have just got around to watching it and realizing this wonderful little 7 year old is the most delightful and inspiring character! Braving the harshest of critics (those terribly shallow and worryingly competitive Beauty Pagent folk in middle America) she follows her dream of becoming little miss Sunshine and all though she fails to impress the judges with her virtual strip tease (taught to her by her recently departed grandfather), she brings an otherwise dysfuctional family together (on stage no less) in a dance for love and individuality and freedom (pheeew!).
