Reason for Award: They are one of the world’s most successful children's author/illustrator teams. Catherine and Laurence Anholt have produced more than 100 children's titles which are published in dozens of languages around the world. Their books have won numerous awards including the prestigious Nestlé Smarties Gold Award on two occasions.
We met the Anholts on a wonderfully sunny afternoon in Dorset, whilst filming for the government run initiative, 'Bookstart' and they proved to be two of the loveliest people we have ever had the honour to film. Speaking in depth about their frustrating experiences as children and as penniless parents, the pair are a real inspiration to creative individuals everywhere. The film will be released on DVD as well as feature on the Bookstart website as soon as completed.

REASON FOR AWARD: She may look all spiritual and deep in the picture to the left but Anna deserves the award, in her own words; 'for managing to look so damn fabulous after four months in India' and 'despite not having access to a bathroom or loo roll for a month, I maintained my skin regime (which included Himalayan Anti-Wrinkle treatment)'. Anna also spent unruly amounts of cash (for India) on jewelry and bespoke Indian suits and had several pedicures. She's also the reason for my (Glossed, Glamorous and Gorgeous) being and therefore for Hi-Gloss so really, miss Bianchi (or 'mum' as I like to call her) should have had her dues a long time ago! After leaving the aforementioned soap in 1983 She wrote, directed and starred in this hilarious 'documentary' on her glamorous life. For changing the trains engine for us when we broke down on the first stretch of track, allowing us to dominate the picnic area all day long and for staying an extra hour while we got those last vital shots, we salute you!!!

REASON FOR AWARD: Savanah used to be the face of 'Needlework and Craft' magazine back in the early 70's until a rich oil merchant swept her off her feet and took her back to his rural Texas as a trofy wife. In the 80's however 'Bill' got bored and ran off with 'wendy' Savanahs true nemesis (once a trusted friend and fellow model). Last spotted on Charing Cross rd in London, drunkenly asking strangers the way to 'Swing' model agency (closed in 1974) it is believed Savana is under the mental delusion she is still a young and succesful model and actress.
